This rare booklet by David Leendert Bamberg (1787–1869), represents an early contribution to the art of magic by one of the Netherlands' most influential families of magicians. David Leendert Bamberg, son of Eliazer Bamberg, was a skilled mechanic and magician who laid the foundation for the legendary Bamberg dynasty. His innovative mechanical tricks and illusions were highly regarded in the 19th century, and this booklet offers a glimpse into the techniques and secrets of his craft.
