Ad 1: Only edition of this Life of Christ in Latin verse by the French Benedictine monk Humbert de Montmoret (d. 1525), preceding the more widely known "Christias" of M.G. Vida (1535). - Extremely rare. Baudrier X, 397; Brunet II, 371 (wrong collation!). Ad 2: Helius Eobanus Hessus (1488-1540) was a German Latin poet born at Halgehausen in Hesse-Kassel (or Hesse-Cassel). - Very rare. VD 16, E-1507. Not in Adams, Soltèsz.
