1291   ARABIC MANUSCRIPTS -- AL-GHARNĀTĪ, Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Sharîf (died 761/1358 in Granada). Raf' al-hujub al-mastûra fî mahâsin al-Maqsûra. Commentary with many historical and biographical data on Al-Qasîda al-Maqsûra al-Alfiyya by Hâzim al-Qartajannî (d. 684/1285). This is a laudatory poem composed by the author for the ruler of Tunis, Al-Mustansir bi-Allâh (645-75/1249-77). GAL I, 269 and GAL S I, 474. (The text was printed in Cairo, 1344, in 2 vols.). Mod. hcf. binding. (Inner upper hinge cracked, a bit wormed, stained throughout, the acidity of the dark ink in places affected some of the manuscript's paper leaves, repairs to margins at the beginning and the end).
